Understanding Financial Planning

Client Centered

Today’s investor is often seeking advice on all topics that impact their finances – not just advice on how they should invest.  For our financial advisors, that has led to a growing focus on financial planning.

The CFP® Board defines financial planning as a “collaborative process with the client that contains all relevant aspects of a client’s personal and financial circumstances, not just how much money is under management.”  For FCCB Wealth Advisors, it comes down to understanding what a client wants to achieve during their lifetime and helping them make informed decisions to get there.

We believe that clients who utilize financial planning tend to make better financial decisions, are more likely to achieve their financial goals, and typically have more confidence concerning their financial position.

It’s easy to get started. Contact your local financial advisor to discuss the potential benefits of financial planning.  If you are interested in meeting with an advisor to start the process, you may want to complete our Financial Planning Checklist to help guide the conversation.
